They're Counting On Us.
You Make It Possible.
A gift today can help provide families with practical resources, advance research, and advocate for a future where people with Fragile X have more opportunities to thrive.
Families are counting on the NFXF.
They're counting on us to continue to provide the information and resources families need each day, move Fragile X research forward, advocate for policies that make a lasting impact for the disability community, and make sure no family has to navigate Fragile X alone.
This past year, we’ve been asking families to share their stories: their journeys, their struggles and triumphs, their hopes for the future, and what they need from the National Fragile X Foundation. We asked families what they need, so we can take action. Here’s what we heard.
They Need a Place to Belong.
For David, that means having a community where his son Miles can participate in the world, be included, and be seen for who he really is. It means creating a world where people with Fragile X have opportunities to share their talents, build relationships, and be part of their communities.
They Need Someone to Help Them Navigate What's Next.
For Tamaro, that means having access to information, practical resources, and tools to help him navigate both the daily challenges of life with Fragile X, as well as planning for the future. It means having the knowledge and support to face the uncertainty that comes with a diagnosis and caregiving.
They Need Answers.
For Jill’s family—who has three generations affected by Fragile X—that means helping researchers make progress toward finding better treatments for Fragile X syndrome, and Fragile X premutation conditions like FXPOI, and FXTAS—and giving the generations to come the possibility of a different future.
We're counting on you to make it possible!
David, Jill, and Tamaro have different Fragile X stories. But they share something powerful: the need for a community that understands. Your gift to the National Fragile X Foundation can help more families throughout every stage of their Fragile X journey, beginning today.
